Description | Zhaoqing Xinde Bridge Limited (ZXB) is a joint-venture between New World Infrastructure (NWI) and five Chinese provincial companies for the construction of a 1.4km, dual 1-lane toll bridge linking Deqing Country with Luoding City and Yunnan County. ZXB's 25-year contract period (including 2 years for construction) began at the end of December 1996. NWI has a 65% share in the project and has invested a total of HK$ 81.78 million (US$ 10.6 million) - HK$ 47.07 million as a loan to the project company and HK$ 32.71 million as equity. In mid 1998, ZXB planned to charge an average toll of Rmb 9.00 per vehicle and expected an average traffic flow of 4,500 vehicles per day. None None |
