Description
Description | The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate existing bank stabilization measures through the introduction of additional plantings and new bank stabilization measures. The bank stabilization measures proposed are the direct result of uncontrolled stormwater conveyance to the receiver (Sheilds Creek), as a result of development. This project will introduce softer measures (plantings, log cribbing, etc.) to stabilize the banks to achieve a stable creek corridor, while protecting property and reducing downstream sedimentation caused by bank undercutting. |
