Information Ayodhya Development Authority has come up with Design and Development of Solar Electric Ferries on Saryu River, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh with a ticket size of 100 INR Crores. This project in Tourism [Leisure / Adventure / Heritage Tourism] sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Idea Stage and is being developed through the PPP route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project Solar Ferries will help in the upgradation of sustainable infrastructure facilities of the city along with boosting the tourism and connectivity along the river side of the city. Adoption of Solar Ferries will also bring new employment opportunities for the locals. Ayodhya Development Authorities envisages for the Design, Supply, Operate & Maintain 10 Nos. of Solar Electric Ferries on Saryu River to take tourists around the temple town, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The project is currently under conceptualization stage. The scope of work includes provision, operation, maintenance and revenue sharing of 1. 6 to 8 Pax Ferries- 2 Nos. 2.12 to 15 Pax Ferries- 3 Nos. 3. 24 to 30 Pax Ferries- 4 Nos. 4. 45 to 50 Pax Ferries- 1 Nos.
