Design for Sewer Access Structures - Upgrades at Various Locations Across the City

Design for the rehabilitation of the City’s sewer access maintenance holes that have been identified as being in poor condition. Upgrades are required in order to ensure safe confined space access and egress to and from underground infrastructure. The design work will look at determining the requirements of future construction upgrades to include replacement of ladders, rungs and landings to bring older access structures up to modern standards. The scope of the design is to prepare the design for the rehabilitation of 43 maintenance hole structures along 6 different collector sewers.
