Description | During the Ministry’s 2015 annual drinking water inspections, the Drinking Water Inspector recommended that the Town implements a backflow prevention / cross connection program. The town wants to develop a backflow prevention / cross connection program to manage risk, maintain system security and protect drinking water quality. This project will develop an assessment program and stakeholder inspection/calibration requirements. The outcome will integrate with corporate GIS system to allow for unique data collection and data analysis. Work will support the drafting of a proposed backflow prevention by-law for council approval. |
