'Developing the EU Youth Dialogue in Denmark 2022-2024'. With this project application, the national working group (NWG) of Denmark wishes to continue the work with the European Union's Youth Dialogue in Denmark. OBJECTIVES 2022-24 contains two whole cycles, i.e. the 9th and 10th cycle in the EU Youth Dialogue. As a consequence, this project is going to work with the themes of the 9th cycle, which is youth goal no. 3 ‘inclusive societies’ and no. 10 ‘sustainable green Europe’ by integrating them into the national consultation and in activites within the first 1,5 years of the project. As for now, we don't know anything about the themes for th 10th cycle, but with the kind of activities we're working with in this project, it's rather easy to adjust the program of the activities when we get to know the themes. All in all, the Danish NWG will continue the work with the dialogue, focusing on working with youth participation, social engagement, inclusion and diversity, sustainability, whatever themes will be a part of the 10th cycle, and aiming to ensure that all young people have the necessary resources to take part in society (cf. the EU Youth Strategy). ACTIVITIES AND DISSEMINATION During the project period, the NWG wish to conduct 4-5 NWG-meetings pr. year, one debate event at the Danish People's Meeting, 1-2 events at DUF's general assemblies, make high quality national consultations, recruit new EU-youth delegates for both cycles, reach out to school children in 'European Day of Democracy' and 'EP-school election' (in 2024), and deliver good inputs for the EUYCs. The target groups for this project is mainly Danish youngsters in general, politicians, youth organizatations, Danish media, etc. We expect to reach several thousands of young people through our activities and online promotion in addition to journalists and the generel public.
