Description
Description | DYPALL Network - Associação para o Desenvolvimento da Participação Cidadã is the NGO responsible for supporting the implementation of the Developing Youth Participation at Local Level (DYPALL) European Initiative. Nowadays, the NGO is accountable for supporting a European-wide network, gathering 54 organizations and local authorities that cooperate to improve and develop further the quality of youth participation in decision-making at the local level. DYPALL Network has twelve full-time staff members supported by paid interns and ESC volunteers, making a team of 15 members. An extensive pool of trainers of the DYPALL Network allows the organisation to organise and provide training on various topics related to youth participation at the local, regional, national and international levels. The organization is also supported by a European Steering Group, which aim is to facilitate the development of the network, the representation in different bodies and working groups, and the involvement of new partners. For the coming two coming years, we present an ambitious but realistic work plan. That focus on concrete objectives aligned with the European Youth Strategy and the youth programmes priorities. But that also reflects concrete needs from our membership and their willingness to increase our organizations' impact on national and European youth policy development. The work plan reflects five thematic priorities that are developed into 17 specific objectives. By implementing different international activities, such as trainings, seminars, study visits and conferences and with the European governance model in place, we will be able to implement over 14 international activities per year. The coming 2 years will be structural for our network, with the launching of the European Network of Local Youth Councils, with the development of the Local Youth Policies Observatory; or with the opening of our membership to research institutions. |
