The objectives of this research are to assess the current state of practice, implementation efforts, and gain knowledge to inform FHWA on Complete Streets construction costs by state and local agency efforts, programs, and requirements; and develop a series of case studies documenting the construction costs of Complete Streets across a diverse range of project types, complexities, cross sectional and geometric design elements, and locations across the United States.
