Planned activities will provide NTCA with much more mobile and up-to-date x-ray scanner units in road-traffic control, and extend operation lifetime of the existing hi energy railway x-ray. Furthermore, NTCA intends to purchase endoscopes, RAMAN spectroscopy device, handheld backscatter x-rays, and sniffer dogs to increase the efficiency of customs controls taking into consideration peculiarities of the control needs of the concerned BCPs. The project also triggers the increase of efficiency of body search.
