Description
Description | The DESIRE Eurocluster - 1 business support organisation and 4 clusters (AT, FR, RO, NO) - will address challenges the SMEs face when accessing the European ehealth and digital health market,in order to build resilience and facilitate green and digital transition. SMEs need better understanding of health 4.0 and of the healthcare system itself, improved knowledge of and access to technological opportunities, co-creation with healthcare operators, equal access to innovation cycle, access to finances, support services and assistance in scaling up (also in terms of internationalization), and assistance in resilience planning. Thus, the DESIRE project will formalize, structure and activate intra- and international collaborations through the DESIRE Collaboration Platform which is a new collaboration model involving 100 international stakeholders, as well as a virtual collaboration space via its market channel, the Service Provision Forum. The Platform members will take part in a regular consultation process, in a series of cluster manager trainings and SME events and co-design 37 transnational and SME resilience preparedness business continuity plans. The partners will also offer support services to SMEs to discover and exploit their innovation and cooperation potentials: The service portfolio, based on a gap analysis and a joint internationalization strategy, is a mix of joint and unilateral services the partners provide to at least 100 SMEs in the fields of innovation, digitalization, green technologies, re-/upskilling and internationalization. In addition, the Eurocluster will identify and co-finance product and business process innovation projects as well as internationalisaiton actions: Through a call for application, at least 35 SMEs will receive a mentoring program incl. financial support for their projects, resulting in at least 15 new-to-company product/service innovations identified and 10 business process innovations adopted in the health industrial ecosystem. |
