Description
Description | South Korean steel giant Posco, in collaboration with Hyundai Motor Group and other partners, has launched a large-scale project to develop high-silicon electrical steel. This material will be used for producing stators and rotors to significantly improve the efficiency of electric motors and introduce new technologies into mass production of electric vehicles. The project aims to develop electrical steel with 6.5% silicon content, reducing iron losses and improving motor efficiency, while addressing the brittleness challenge of high silicon content. |
