The general objective of the project is to enhance the competitiveness of the Rapanui community's business sector. The specific objective is to develop local capacity for the management and promotion of private sector development projects, preparing the Rapanui to assume the new responsibilities acquired as a result of amendments to the Chilean Constitution. To this end, work will focus on executing projects to complement efforts in two areas: (i) joint public-private sector projects; and (ii) business sector initiatives based on business partnerships.
