This project in Airports & Aviation Infrastructure sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Completion Certificate/COD and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project The Govt. further approved for the development of Shivamogga Airport from ATR 72 type Aircraft Day Visual Flight Range VFR Operations to Airbus-320 type Aircraft Operations under Phase 2 works with a total cost of Rs.449.22 crores. The Passenger Terminal Building is 4340 sq.m. area and the said building is designed to handle around 300 peak hour passenger. Runway length is 3050 m., isolation-bay, taxi-way and others are designed for operation of Airbus 320 aircraft. |
