The production of ceramics demands great knowledge, years of trials and gaining experience. During the pandemic many artists, designers and also people not connected with the creative field were forced to change their professional skills due to economic reasons. It was especially difficult for artists to retrain, due to lack of skills in the field of new technologies and designing software. The current situation in Ukraine suggests that one cannot be certain of a peaceful tomorrow. We strongly believe that the growing popularity of ceramic products creates new earning opportunities and workplaces. With all this in mind our main objective is to enhance the capacity of European cultural and creative sectors to nurture talents, innovate, prosper and generate workplaces and economic growth by conducting and organizing the workshops and exhibitions in European cities with implementing new technologies to traditional craft. By CASTCERAMICS Project we wish to accelerate digital transition of cultural and creative sectors of national and transnational/European communities among people in Europe that needs it the most, like immigrants, refugees, war fugitives from Ukraine, and among vulnerable women. We strongly believe that our project has the power to protect and promote the cultural heritage of Ukraine and ethnic minorities.
