Description | Objectives: - to develop and encourage the National Judicial Network; intensify cooperation between competent authorities and legal practitioners while developing current and establishing new working methods and creating better forum for exchange of best practice; - enhance international judicial cooperation in civil law matters and spread knowledge of the private international law; Activities: - meetings of the members of the National Judicial Network; - printed publication – 1) compilation of case studies on the application of EU legal instruments and international private law; 2) national compendia of legal instruments (EU, international and national); - raising awareness of the National Judicial Network and the European Judicial Network concerning its functioning and its benefits Type and number of persons benefiting from the project: - Members of the Czech National Judicial Network (notaries, lawyers, academia, law enforcement authorities, civil servants (approx. 200 participants) and students of Law; - participants from other EU Member States will be attending the meetings either as lecturers or participants. Expected results: - strengthened capacity of the Network, increase of knowledge on the legislation related to judicial cooperation in civil law matters and establishment of a well-functioning channel to address issues discussed during the EJN meeting in more effective manner; - increase of knowledge of the operation and application of EU law in practice; - creation of national compendia of legal instruments and collection of case studies – first publication of its kind in the Czech Republic.
