Development Slate of 2 fiction films (Maria’s Christmas Eve, Borderline) and 1 documentary film (Chopin on 5 Continents) produced by Mañana, Poland aims to prepare three extraordinary projects for filming in international co-production. Over next three years Manana and its committed EU partners will co-operate on scriptwork, research, financing and test shooting. We will invite further partners and institutions to these projects, also from outside of EU, in order to maximize the potential of the filmmakers’ visions and shoot their stories across the globe, across borders and cultures. Resulting feature-length films will screen at festivals, in cinemas and on other suitable media to reach as diverse and numerous audiences as possible. Filmmakers will gain invaluable experience of working with international casts and crews. Manana will expand its network on partners and catalogue of internationally co-produced films.
