Devon Avenue Bridge Replacement over Edens Expressway

The project involves replacing the Devon Avenue bridge deck over the Edens Expressway with a new wider two-span continuous galvanized steel bridge. It includes installing new LED lights, modernized traffic signals, new sidewalks, ADA upgrades, and raising Devon Avenue to provide additional under-clearance for the interstate. The intersection of Devon and Cicero will be resurfaced, and new pavement sections will include a 7-foot sidewalk on the south side and a 10-foot shared use path on the north side. The project is part of the Rebuild Illinois program.
