Description | RV Infrastructure Engineers Pvt. Ltd. was awarded a 15 year concession for strengthening, widening, and reconstructing the 98.3 km Dewas-Ujjain-Badnagar-Badnawar Road by Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Limited (MPRDC). MPRDC is a wholly owned Madhya Pradesh (MP) state government company responsible for the construction and rehabilitation of MP state roads. Under the contract, all the investment was made by RV Infrastructure Engineers Pvt. Ltd. in return for the rights to collect tolls during the term of the contract. The total cost of the project was estimated at US$ 10.6 million. RV Infrastructure Engineers Pvt. Ltd. won the competitive tender, conducted by MPRDC in December 2002 by bidding the lowest government subsidy/grant amount of US$ 5.2 million. Dewas-Ujjain-Badnagar-Badnawar Road became fully operational in 2006. |
