Description

Description	On May 18, 2009, a Beijing based local private company Beijing Sound Environment Industry Group signed an agreement with the Dezhou Municipal Government to finance, build and operate a solid waste power plant in Dezhou City, Shandong Province. This is a BOO project. The total investment is RMB 250 million (US$ 38.21 million) and the capacity of the facility is 2X7.5MW. Beijing Sound has a 100% stake in the project. A special purpose vehicle Dezhou Green Energy Co., Ltd. Is established to undertake the project. Construction commenced on July 28, 2009. The project became operation at the end of 2011. The plant can process 600 tons of solid waste per day.
