Description | The Fifth Development Bank of Mauritius Project will assist DBM in financing directly or through Mauritian-owned commercial banks the foreign exchange component of loans and investments in industry, agro-industry and tourism. It will also help cover the foreign exchange component of artisan and small scale enterprises' investment needs. Slowdown in investment demand could result from Government's inability to effectively control wage increases, local labor problems, transportation difficulties and failure of industrial promotion efforts directed at European investors. |
