Description | The Second Industrial Credit Project will (i) provide much needed medium- and long-term credit for financially and economically sound industrial investment projects of small- and medium-sized enterprises; (ii) help to develop a system for the generation of sound industrial investment projects; (iii) upgrade the project appraisal and supervision capabilities of PIs, as well as FONDEI's administration; (iv) strengthen CDI's lending capabilities and technical assistance services to smaller industrial enterprises. A total of about 4,200 new jobs are expected to be generated at an average investment cost per job of about US$11,300. |
