Description | The provision of EUR 25 million loan (in USD or KZT equivalent) to LLP Atasu Group, one of the intermodal logistics operators in Kazakhstan. The project is an operation change providing for (i) an extension of an additional EUR 12.5 million loan and (ii) a change in the use of proceeds for the existing EUR 12.5 million. The proceeds for the total amount of EUR 25 million co-finance (i) a buyback of the stake held by a minority investor in the Company, (ii) modernisation of the Dostyk railway terminal, and (iii) acquisition of 145 open top railway wagons (the "Project"). The total cost of the Project is EUR 61 million. The balance will be funded by a local commercial bank and internally generated cash. |
