Description | Up to EUR 7 million equity co-investment in a minority stake in Sirma AI EAD ("Ontotext", the "Company"), a limited liability company incorporated in Bulgaria. The EBRD will invest alongside Portfolion Regionalis Magantoke Alap II ("Portfolion") and Atanas Kiryakov, the CEO of Ontotext, to acquire a minority stake from Sirma Group Holding JSC. The investment comes in the context of a recently completed controlling stake buyout by New Frontier Technology Investment SARL ("NFTI", "LuxCo"), a special purpose vehicle established in Luxembourg and controlled by a consortium led by Integral Venture Partners ("IVP"), a private equity and growth equity firm with a focus on SMEs in TMT, consumer, healthcare, and industrial sectors in emerging Europe. NFTI's investment was in excess of €30 million. EBRD is an LP in Evolving European Principal Investments I fund (DTM #49503) managed by IVP |
