Description | Energy Capital Partners, in joint venture with KKR, will build a $4 billion hyperscale data center campus in Bosque County, Texas. The project will total 190 megawatts at full build-out and is the first investment of a $50 billion strategic partnership for data center investment and development. The campus will be developed within Calpine Corp.'s Thad Hill Energy Center, with Calpine providing power capacity. The multi-phase project includes an initial 144-megawatt power capacity and aims for sustainability features such as climate-neutral initiatives and water conservation. |
