It is designed as India's first airport-cum-industrial township-cum-smart city-cum-semiconductor park, featuring a 2,340 meters long runway, a 25,000 sq m passenger terminal, and a 2,500 sq m cargo terminal. The airport will cater to 20 lakh passengers and one lakh freight traffic annually and will be connected by a six-lane national highway and an upcoming high-speed rail link. |
