Diablo Canyon Nuclear Plant Documentation AI Modernization

under development

Atomic Canyon, a tech startup, is collaborating with California's Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant to streamline nuclear documentation using AI and exascale computing. They developed the Neutron platform, an AI tool that simplifies navigating through approximately 2 billion pages of nuclear documentation, aiming to reduce the extensive time spent on paperwork and improve the licensing process. The project leverages the Frontier supercomputer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory for AI model training.
