The DATA project is a positive initiative that seeks to solve the current lack of vision and strategy in the application of digital technologies in sports organisations. By creating a professional profile for the staff of sport organizations at all levels of management (coaches, managers, athletes and parents) with specialised education in sport organisations, the project aims to fill the gap and equip sports clubs with the necessary expertise to fully exploit the potential of digital transformation. This project has the potential to improve the quality and efficiency of sports training and activities, leading to better performance and results for both professional and mass sports. It also offers new opportunities for sports clubs to adopt an innovative aspect based on the concepts of promoting participation in sports and physical activity that improves health through digitalisation. It will support staff members, managers, coaches, young people (16-30) and families in a way that facilitates work and builds resilience and innovation in sport organisations. The methodological combination and synergy between education through sports (ETS) and practical elements of physical activities will be embodied and multiplied through the creation of an innovative digital tool to support people who are staff members and social support providers in sports clubs.
