Description

Description

This project aims to develop an innovative, evidence-based school curriculum to teach digital skills to teenagers aged 12 to 16. The process begins with an in-depth analysis of the current European framework for digital literacy, identifying gaps and areas for improvement. Based on the results of this analysis, the project will be able to design a national curriculum (aligned with the national educational framework) to complement existing initiatives led by public administrations and civil society. After the design phase, the project will also pilot the implementation of the curriculum in real educational settings, using both qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate their effectiveness and impact. This dual approach (design and application) will generate practical evidence to support the potential future scalability and transferability of the model across other European Union countries. The project will promote the safe, inclusive, and informed digital participation of young people, with a strong emphasis on gender equality, well-being, and rights-based education. By engaging educators and adolescents throughout the process, it will ensure that the solution is context-relevant, adaptable, and aligned with the needs of European societies.
