Description
Description | With increasing automation and digitalisation in both working life and everyday life, the demands for the use of modern technologies are rising. At the same time, the demand for technically trained specialists is growing in the border region. The aim of the project is to raise interest in digital technologies through intercultural exchange among young people, which are becoming increasingly important in social and economic sectors as well as in technical and artisanal sectors. There will be 16 Bavarian-Czech meetings (8 of them five-day — 400 participants incl. teachers, 4 of them three days — 200 participants incl. teachers). After half of the seminars, an “evaluation meeting” will take place for teachers and company representatives. A “specialist forum” will be organised at the end of the project, with a total of 16 Bavarian-Czech meetings (8 of them five days, 4 of them three days, 2 Bavarian-Czech holiday camps, “evaluation meetings”, “Fachforum”). The target group consists of pupils in upper secondary education at the age of 12 to 20 years. The program and the requirements are always adapted to the age of the participants. Objectives of the project:Supporting youth exchanges with the aim of strengthening school partnerships and thereby ensuring their sustainability and at the same time the sustainability of the resulting network of partner schools in the Bavarian-Czech border area.Support to technical training in the region.Identification with the region through interactive excursions to attractive companies in the region. The students get to know the possibilities of the border region.Linking seminars for schools and openly advertised meetings through the Bavarian-Czech Holiday Camp (2019 and 2020). Individuals have the opportunity to participate in the Bavarian-Czech cooperation. In the context of the simulation game “Working in an international company”, pupils test key competences defined in the Recommendation of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union of 18 December 2006 on key competences for lifelong learning (2006/962/EC), such as: foreign language competence, computer competence, cultural awareness and cultural expression. |
