The development objective of the Digital Nepal Acceleration (DNA) Project for Nepal is to expand access to broadband in Project areas, to improve the capacity of individuals to engage in the digital economy, and to enhance the foundations for digital government. The project comprises of four components. The first component, expanding access to broadband consists of following sub-components: (i) promote broadband access and use; and (ii) improve international connectivity. The second component, improving the capacity of individuals to engage in the digital economy consists of following sub-components: (i) promote digital literacy; (ii) develop advanced digital skills of individuals; and (iii) support digital entrepreneurship. The third component, enhancing the foundations of digital government consists of following sub-components: (i) enhance the digital trust ecosystem; (ii) improve data center capacity; and (iii) implement select digital services. The fourth component, project management and coordination will support project management.
