Description

Description

Digital traceability and compliance for sustainable SMEs. The project aims to foster collaboration between educational institutions, vocational training providers, and SMEs to ensure that the workforce is equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to implement and innovate around the EU’s Digital Product Passport (DPP) requirements. By developing industry-relevant curricula, fostering work-based learning, and promoting innovation in digital sustainability practices, the project will help bridge the gap between the regulatory demands of the DPP and the digital competencies of small and medium-sized enterprises. This initiative seeks to support SMEs in complying with DPP regulations while enabling them to lead in sustainable product management and transparent supply chains, creating new market opportunities for eco-friendly and digitally savvy enterprises. This project would target the following objectives: - Developing tailored educational content that addresses the regulatory and technical demands of the DPP, - Facilitating work-based learning partnerships that allow students and SMEs to work together on DPP compliance, - Encouraging innovation in digital tools and platforms that improve product lifecycle transparency and sustainability, - Promoting sector-specific training and support to help SMEs in various industries adapt to DPP requirements, and - Empowering SMEs to capitalize on new business opportunities in sustainable product management. - Developing a central knowledge hub to integrate training, tools, and collaborative spaces, ensuring SMEs, educators, and stakeholders have continuous access to resources for DPP compliance and innovation.
