Description
Description | Digital Transformation - DIGI The EACEA state through their funding programmes that they give European organisations the opportunity to: ✓ work together on common projects ✓ expand professional and personal networks ✓ learn about European cultural diversity ✓ discover their rights and responsibilities as citizens ✓ develop their professional skills and expertise To encourage, promote, develop and support this claim the Digital Transformation (DIGI) project aims to meet all the above via developing and improving sports leadership and governance throughout Europe at all levels. By sharing knowledge through connecting a range of continental and global sports organisations, the project will facilitate the correct processes, programmes and environments to maximise understanding, implementation and application of new Digital Tools to be used by the 42 member National Associations. The concept of DIGI was formulated through discussions between the European Hockey Federation members, and external digital transformation agency. with the purpose to grow the support digital capabilities for and with EuroHockey member National Associations. By tracking the needs and activity of the EuroHockey member National Associations. Resulting in the use of data rich decision making informed to demonstrate strategies of member Nations and EuroHockey. The DIGI project benchmarks pilot stages with 3 different size and type of National Association members to improve the functionality and sustainability of the digital transformation across the European hockey family. Throughout the stages of partnership building and expressions of interest the rationale was to bring together a diverse project partners as this provides greater learning opportunities during the project which can then be disseminated to support sport’s (hockey) position in pioneering the influence of digital tools to empower sport in effecting change for good. |
