Description
Description | The project reinforces the capacity of national social partner organisations to take up the challenges posed by the digital transition and new work patterns that the outbreak first and then the reaction to the COVID-19 crisis have highlighted. National employers and trade unions in the local and regional government sector have the possibility to explore and learn by exchanging with their peers across Europe on how to best deal with the digital transition in the sector. The project is structured around an independent research and the contributions by national social partner organisations on various issues stemming from the European Social Partners Autonomous Agreement on Digitalisation signed in 2020: digital skills and securing employment; modalities of connecting and disconnecting; Artificial Intelligence (AI) and guaranteeing the human in control principle; and respect of human dignity and surveillance. This joint work aims at supporting the drafting of a proposal for sectoral guidelines on digitalisation to be adopted by social partners of local and regional governments. |
