The project task is to provide comparable data with other EU countries and significantly expand the existing Digital economy statistics. The results will be used for policy makers at EU level in order to strengthen policy responses: Collection of mandatory and optional variables and breakdowns for statistics on ICT in households and by individuals and ICT usage and e-commerce in enterprises; to transmit microdata of the ICT usage in households and by individuals’ and in the form of aggregated data of ICT usage and e-commerce in enterprises to Eurostat in the format described in the implementing regulations. This includes the collection and transmission of accurate, reliable, representative aggregated data, delivered in a timely manner to Eurostat in line with the EU Regulations, and respecting the quality criteria and required breakdowns.
