DIGIVOGUI – Development of personal and social competences on youngsters through Virtuals Exchanges

The DIGIVOGUI project is a Virtual Exchange that aims to develop the personal and social competences of youngsters, ensuring that they are given the necessary tools to prepare them for active and participatory citizenship and for educated, responsible and informed action. With this, we want to empower youngsters to have better life perspectives on a personal, social, educational and professional level. To make this possible, our project is based on three main strands: 1) Theoretical, conceptual and methodological development that allows us to develop the intervention with youngsters at this level, including the development of deliverables that support this work (Theoretical Manual and Practical Manual); 2) Planning, preparation and structuring of trainings for youth workers, so that they can take on this work with youngsters and empower them properly. It includes the development of deliverables that support this work (MOOC and Training for Youth Workers), which will even be tested throughout the project; 3) Planning, preparation and structuring of an Interactive Open Online Course for youngsters, allowing them to develop their personal and social competences. This course will also be tested throughout the project. At this level, using digital media and non-formal education tools, we plan a programme that will work on essential indicators for personal, social, school and professional success and fulfilment: self-knowledge, communication and interpersonal relationships, critical thinking and creativity, time management, problem-solving and emotional management, entrepreneurship, adaptability and decision-making (competences areas to be explored).
