The European Union's Youth Dialogue aims to provide a platform for young people to actively participate in shaping policies that impact their daily lives and future. This initiative fosters democratic practices across EU member states by incorporating youth perspectives into key decision-making processes. Through structured discussions and collaborations, the project develops policies aligned with the needs of the younger generation while enhancing their civic skills and representation at the European level. The project prioritizes inclusivity, focusing on youth with fewer opportunities, particularly those from rural areas. It aligns with the objectives of the EU Youth Strategy 2019–2027 and builds upon insights from prior dialogue cycles. Activities include consultations, training, and events organized in cooperation with youth organizations, councils, and educational institutions. This multifaceted approach empowers young people to contribute meaningfully to community development and connects them with decision-makers at local, national, and EU levels. The Croatian Ministry of Science, Education, and Youth coordinates the project, ensuring administrative continuity and enabling civil society organizations to focus on implementation. The National Working Group (NWG), composed of government, academia, and youth representatives, oversees the project's execution, promoting a participatory framework that integrates diverse youth voices. Key activities include consultations with youth, preparation for EU Youth Conferences, and dissemination of outcomes through digital and traditional channels. Sustainability measures, such as eco-friendly practices, and a focus on inclusivity and safety ensure the project's long-term impact. By fostering active citizenship and broad participation, the project strengthens youth involvement in democratic processes and policy-making at all levels.
