The project involves the development, construction and operation of 50MW Din Energy Thatta District Onshore Wind Farm, located on 325-acre land in Sindh province’s Jhimpir wind corridor, Thatta district, Pakistan. The project is part of a program to build six wind power projects in Pakistan, named the Super Six. The project will be developed by SPV, owned by Din Group of Industries and namely Din Ventures – 31.7%, Din Corp – 31.7%, Din Industries Management – 5%, Shaikh Mohammed Pervez - 15.8% and Ghazala Pervez – 15.8%. The project cost is $ 63.9 million with debt and equity contributions of $52.12 million and $12.79 million, respectively. IFC provided $ 25.56 million, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah provided $ 12.78 million each.
