Description
Description | Swedish renewables developer OX2 has formally taken ownership of the up-to-1.2-GW Dinner Hill Wind Farm project in Western Australia. The wind project, located in Dandaragan Shire, about two hours north of Perth, will be paired with a 100-MW, four-hour energy storage facility called the Harvest battery energy storage system (BESS). Harvest BESS and Dinner Hill Wind Farm are scheduled to come online in 2029 and 2032, respectively, subject to environmental and heritage approvals and grid connection agreements. They are planned to connect to the South West Interconnected System (SWIS) via separate transmission lines. OX2 announced the acquisition of the early-stage onshore wind power project a year ago and is starting a community engagement process. |
