Description

The Dioriga Gas FSRU project is a floating storage and regasification unit being developed by Motor Oil Hellas (MOH) through its subsidiary, Dioriga Gas. It is the most advanced and mature FSRU project in Greece, strategically located in the Saronic Gulf. The project aims to optimize LNG imports into Greece and Southeast Europe, diversify gas supply sources, enhance regional energy security, and strengthen Greece's position as a key LNG gateway for Europe. Mercuria Energy and MOH have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a framework for long-term cooperation, including regasification capacity reservation, long-term LNG supply by Mercuria, and joint development to bring the project to commercial operation.
