Direct Lithium Extraction and Lithium Hydroxide Plant

Standard Lithium Ltd. is considering constructing a direct lithium extraction and lithium hydroxide plant at its 27,000-acre TETRA Property in the Smackover Formation area of Columbia and Lafayette Counties. The project scope includes construction of brine supply and injection wells and pipelines; purchase and erection of structural steel; and purchase and installation of brine storage tanks, reactors, and sorbent loading, washing, stripping, polishing, crystallizers, filtration, bagging, flow and process control and loadout equipment. NORAM Engineering and Constructors Ltd. is performing a preliminary economic assessment and Hunt Guillot & Associates is providing preliminary engineering services for the project.
