The overall objective of this project is to increase the inclusion of the disabled by increasing their access to basic services – education, transport and labour markets. The project seeks to: establish benchmarks for disability prevalence and make comparisons between disability data and other indicators of social development – poverty, gender, education, etc.; Increase the labour market participation and overall social inclusion of the disabled by increasing their access to safe and accessible transport and mobility in urban environments; Conduct a review in 1 or 2 low-income countries of access to education for disabled children.
