To help the country to improve its capacity to reduce and manage risks of disasters. To help the Government set in place key elements of its national risk management strategy and to provide the experience and technical analysis necessary to position the country to establish a larger program of public investment in risk reduction in the near future. It has 3 components: local disaster prevention and risk management; risk management in education; and Policy leadership.
