Description
Description | The aim of the project is to discover cultural diversity of the five European nations, to connect people, and to emphasize the importance of the European Union. These are the three crucial themes showing the current priorities and needs of the partners. Culture is important as an element of national identities as well as the element of connections and interhuman relations. Therefore, we can speak about culture as an element helping to remove the barriers between nations and to build tolerance towards ethnical minorities and migrants. Culture connects people, and the connection between culture and other activities throughout the project is of great importance. The presentation of the European Union, which is the unifying element for all nations, will be a part of the project. By presenting the EU we want the participants to feel more associated with it, to discuss their pictures of Europe, and to gain European awareness. Connecting people is the third element of the project. I tis linked with overcoming prejudices related to age, gender, or ethnicity. This will be supported by culture and familiarization activities. The project enables learning the languages of the participating nations (reading, writing, speaking). Several steps are necessary to reach the main goal of the project. The first one is mutual communication. This will be supported by learning languages. The other is learning about the European Union and developing European awareness. The third step is the presentation of culture and arts. The fourth one is learning about tolerance and solidarity. The final step is creation of informal bonds among nations. |
