Tractebel paid US$ 8.13 million for the existing assets that used to belong to Pemex (97-KM of pipelines), and agreed for an additional investment of US$ 83.6 million over the next five years. By the end of this five years, Tractebel will have a 2,186-KM network and will be supplying gas to 180,558 users (mostly industrial consumers and cogeneration plants). The contract length is for 30 years, renewable for periods of 15 years, but Tractebel has a 12-year exclusivity period. None None |
