The main focus of the Landfilm gGmbH is on children's and youth films. The basis for the selection of the films for distribution on the German market is formed by film festivals. Productions that have won awards at European or international film festivals in the past or are generally considered to be particularly valuable in the field of children's and youth films often find their way into Landfilm gGmbH's film catalogue. The speciality of the film distribution is thus international and thus also European films outside of mainstream cinema.
