Description | Information Department of Power, Government of Nagaland has come up with Distribution System Strengthening with special focus on foothill SEZs with a ticket size of 467.26 INR Crores. This project in Electricity Distribution sub-sector involves The current status of the project is DPR/Feasibility Study and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project The project is aimed to strengthen and augment distribution networks and distribution transformers to cater to the power requirements in the areas declared as special economiz zones in Nagaland where thereis a huge critical gap between demand -supply capacity. The project will facilitate industrial and economic activities in four district viz. Dimapur, Nuiland, Chumukedima and Wokha. |
