Description
Description | District 11 is the UAE's first AI-planned office district designed by HWKN Architecture for Al Marwan Real Estate Development Group. It is a mixed-use commercial district in Sharjah that integrates adaptable design with smart building systems and shared spaces, promoting a walkable 'work resort' model with 11 mixed-use buildings and 200 commercial units, including cafes, clinics, childcare spaces, and a mosque. The design process used AI to optimize building massing, shading, foot traffic, and climate response, aiming to create a human-centred, climate-responsive urban district. |
