For the past few years, the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg has identified emerging needs within its signatories’ network in order to reinforce its reporting and accountability and capacity building mechanism. Among them: - A call for concrete tools to measure diversity-promoting actions and the fight against discriminations, as well as the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on diversity management, - More tailor-made monitoring methods to support the implementation of organisations’ diversity management and policies, - A solid IT structure capable of managing a high volume of data and functions to allow a clear view of the European Diversity & Inclusion landscape, - A place to centralise and offer sustainable access to corporate, network, and training Diversity & Inclusion indicators. To meet these needs, the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg, a project supported by IMS Luxembourg, and with the help of Equality Strategies Ltd, intends to build an online platform to measure each organisation’s progress and actions in terms of diversity and inclusion management and submit personalised diagnoses and reports based on the filled-in data. Entitled “Diversity Barometer”, this tool will also make it possible to follow a complete “Diversity & Management” e-training provided by an expert in Diversity & Inclusion. The training content will be adapted for individual and online use, through e-learning modules. This initiative is a first in Europe. Although a national project in its early stages, the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg, with the support of several European Diversity Charters, will translate it in nothing less than 10 languages, making the tool, its resources and learning methods, available across the continent.
