Djibouti - Education II Project

The second Education project responds to a pressing need and is fully in line with the objectives of the Government's Economic and Social Orientation Act (1991/1995) in the education and training sector. The project aims to strengthen primary and secondary education and improve the quality of the training of trainers. It also aims to raise women's level of education, encourage girls' enrolment in school and develop education related to education. The components of the project are: (i) strengthening primary education; (ii) developing secondary education; (iii) improving the training of trainers; (iv) environmental education and awareness; (v) training and productive activities for women; and (vi) Education Project Implementation Office (BEPE).
