Djibouti - The Urban Poverty Reduction Programme Support Project

The Urban Poverty Reduction Project (PREPUD) is part of a programme of the same name co-financed by four donors (AFD, ADB, IsDB and WB) and the Government of Djibouti. It aims to improve the living conditions of the people of Djibouti. The intervention thrusts retained by all donors concern: (i) access to basic infrastructures; (ii) community development; (iii) capacity building; and (iv) microfinance. The project has three components including: 1) capacity building; 2) access to structuring infrastructures and socio-community facilities; and 3) project management.
